The location and setting of Mulgrave Country Cottage were absolutely incredible. It provided a tranquil and idyllic setting, just a few minutes' walk from the beach. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had its own private entrance, making it feel high-end and spacious. The breakfast choices were excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The private woods and tree swing on the property added an extra touch of charm. our stay at Mulgrave Country Cottage was amazing.
. The room only had one chair and no writing material, which was a bit inconvenient.

Lovely room with unexpected balcony. Excellent staff. Struggled with shower temp but roll top bath was a good alternative. Missed out on hot tub and sauna but will use next time. Hidden gem near beach, pub, shop, countryside, and forest. Outstanding breakfast and friendly staff.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Mulgrave Cottage. The warm welcome and generous hospitality from the owner made us feel right at home. The clean and well-appointed rooms, with a spacious and comfortable bed, were a delight. The surrounding countryside and forest provided a beautiful backdrop, and the close proximity to the beach, pub, and shop made it convenient for us. We especially loved the charming touch of having goats roaming the garden. We highly recommend this hidden gem and will definitely be returning.

We had a great time at the B&B, enjoying the peaceful and beautiful garden where we could relax and listen to the birdsong. The warm welcome we received from our host made us feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional breakfast, which surpassed our expectations. We also loved the convenient location of the B&B, close to various attractions and amenities.
The quality of the room fell short of what we would consider "luxury," with cheap plastic panelling in the bathroom and a lack of attention to detail. The bed was uncomfortable due to hard pillows and a loud squeaking noise.

The bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and pleasant experience. the location of the hotel was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding city and enjoy our city trip to the fullest.
There were a few aspects that were not up to our expectations. The wifi connection was quite poor, making it difficult for us to stay connected and stream our favorite shows.
